3am the alarm rings so I can jump out of bed and actually pack all the things I want to take to BlogHer in NYC this weekend. I have a flight at 8am headed to meet some amazing women and No, sadly I am not packed. Truth is, I have been looking forward to this day for many months and have been planning what I’ll wear/what shoes I’ll bring/what shoes I’ll buy…for just as long, but the actually packing….yeah, I’m kind of a procrastinator when it comes to that. So here I sit writing a last few words before I depart home into a sea of many amazing and talented women hopeing I don’t get lost in my own personal fear of inadequecy standing next to people I admire.
I’m sure I’ll have a one too many drinks, no doubt I will talk too much and yet, still find a way to have an amazing time in a city that has always held such allure for me. I’ll be rooming with this special lady, who I am thrilled to finally meet face to face. And yes, I will be taking a million and one pictures and I can’t wait to meet all the other incredible bloggers that will be there. So if you see a little blonde with a lost look on her face or perhaps one that is laughing a little too loud – that’d be me. Come on over and say HI!

I’m so bummed I couldn’t connect with you! With me not “officially” attending the conference and staying at the Royalton it made it tough to see so many people. BUMMER! I hope you had a fabulous time. I am still recovering…from all the walking.
